At Our Loving Village we truly believe in the ancient African proverb that says:
“It takes a village to raise a child”
We interpret that phrase, in all it’s positivity, to mean that having a diverse community of well-trusted people interacting with children is a beneficial way for a child to experience the world and grow in a safe environment. As new parents, my husband, Lonnie, and I are opening up our pet-friendly home as a daycare and homeschooling cooperative to Stamford, Texas and surrounding areas to build a network of meaningful relationships and offer wholesome and enriched early education to other like-minded families.
We believe early childhood care and education should be filled with child-centered play accented with adult-guided teaching. Using evidence based techniques such as Conscious Discipline and Montessori methods, our curriculum allows children to safely explore their environment while developing social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth. Children of Our Loving Village will be exposed to developmentally appropriate and educational activities that promote character building, positive adult-child and peer interactions and healthy nutritional habits.
